Terms of Service

Our Terms of Service policies are listed here for your review. Please read them carefully before signing up for any account with Internet Services Unlimited.

Use of ISUnlimited.net's services in any capacity constitutes acceptance and agreement to Internet Services Unlimited's AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) as well as Internet Services Unlimited's TOS (Terms of Service). From wherewith in this TOS, AUP, TOP, and SLA, the usage of 'us', 'we', 'our', and 'ours' shall constitute reference to Internet Services Unlimited, Inc, and the usage of 'you', 'your', 'they', and 'them' shall refer to client / customer of ISUnlimited.net. Client agrees that by placing an order either by means of electronic ordering or submitting a written contract, and receipt of such order by Internet Services Unlimited, that you are agreeing to our Terms of Use and Terms of Payment for your applicable account type. No modifications of said contract by customer are allowed.

ISUnlimited.net will provide, and Customer will purchase and pay for, the services, and service fees specified in the order for the agreed upon service package. Customer acknowledges that the service and service fees have been communicated to the customer, and that he/she is aware of all applicable charges as per contract, AUP, SLA, and TOS. Customer also understands that any promotional offers unless specified in contractual terms will not be applicable to their individual service.

ISUnlimited.net reserves the right to alter, amend, or change these policies at any time. All accounts are required to comply with any changes made to these policies while their accounts are active. Notification of any major changes to the policies will be emailed to all active accounts.

The individual or corporate entity that signs up for an account is the individual legally responsible for the account. If you no longer wish to be responsible for payment contact Internet Services Unlimited immediately. Accounts are NOT transferable without express, written permission by ISUnlimited.net. Any account found to have been transferred will be terminated and no refund will be issued.

All account requests must include the responsible party's full name, physical address, and phone number.

Terms of Use [All Account Types]

Accounts may only be used for their prescribed purposes and cannot be used for any of the following purposes: Spamming or sending UCE (unsolicited commercial email), software piracy, hacking or attempting to use machine or network resources for unlawful purposes. Any account violating these rules will be terminated immediately and no refunds will be issued.

All Internet Services Unlimited non-dedicated servers run the Gentoo distribution of Linux. Please do not ask for installs of other operating systems unless you have selected a dedicated or colocated server package.

Services are provided on an 'as is' basis. Internet Services Unlimited, Inc, cannot and will not be held liable for any damages that may occur, whether indirect, incidental, or consequential that may arise out of use of ISUnlimited.net services. Offsite backup services are offered at an additional charge. We suggest keeping a copy of your work on a local personal computer as well.

Shell account access will only be available by SSH or SFTP/SCP. Any other attempts of access will be denied.

Terms of Use [MUD Hosting Accounts]

MUD hosting accounts are for the purposes of running MUDS, and MUD-like, text-based games ONLY. Any account found running a graphical game server, such as Quake, or running an IRC server or bot will be terminated immediately. Any set-up fees and monthly fees up to, and including the current month, will be forfeit. Hosting is available for graphical games and IRC servers under separate packages. Any single household may only have a single ISFree account active.

Any account which consistently exceeds assigned quotas of any sort, including, but not limited to, hard disk, RAM, or CPU, will be asked to upgrade their custom options. We reserve the right to kill any process which exceeds memory quota and/or uses considerable amounts of CPU time. Refusal to upgrade or to bring system usage within account parameters may result in the termination of the offending account.

Internet Services Unlimited, Inc, will not be held responsible for any content on its client MUDS which others may find offensive.

Internet Services Unlimited, Inc, staff members will NEVER ask for any god, wizard or similar bitted character on any of the MUDS we host unless ISUnlimited.net is otherwise contracted for consulting services. If someone requests such a character and claims to be an employee of ISunlimited.net, please email abuse@isunlimited.net immediately with as much information as you have.

Accounts voluntarily cancelled will receive a refund only for any FULL months remaining that have been pre-paid, minus any discounts received prior to cancellation. Under no circumstances will set-up fees be refunded. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment. You must explicitly notify us via EMAIL from your primary registered email account if you wish to cancel your account. Accounts are still considered active and will be charged even if you do not log in and use them. Your billing period starts the day your account is activated, whether or not you are actively running a game.

General system support is available free of charge by email or on ISUMUSH. Support for Advanced UNIX topics, HTML, C or MUSH coding, or other support, when available, will incur an additional service charge. The staff of ISUnlimited are not necessarily immediately available for additional MUD projects, so support may not always be available.

Internet Services Unlimited will compile and install a default MUD server for the current MUD Installation charge at time of agreement. For those clients who wish to add SQL in a server base that supports it, an additional one time fee will be assessed. Should the server base need reinstallation after ISUnlimited.net formally hands off the live account, this fee will be reassessed.

If you do not see a utility or program on our servers that you require, please inquire about it. We can obtain and install nearly any utility that you may need. However, there may be circumstances where we cannot fulfill every request.

Terms of Payment

Establishment of service is contingent upon receipt of payment from Customer to Internet Services Unlimited, Inc. Subsequent payments are due on the renewal date of the service billing date. Any additional services relative to a primary account will be charged separately, however can be combined to a single re-occurring bill date as requested by the client.

No services will be setup before the first month's payment is received. No existing accounts will be upgraded until the first month's payment and any applicable set-up fees are received. All payments must be made via Paypal, credit card through Paypal, check, or money order. Accounts paying by Paypal may opt to pay monthly. All other payment methods, including check, and money order, must be made on a quarterly or annual basis. We accept a minimum payment of $2.50. Any account with a lesser charge may chose to pay for a longer period of time or upgrade other services as necessary.

Payments and Fees

Payment is due on, or before, the first of the month. Service will be interrupted on accounts that reach 7 days past due. Service interrupted for non-payment is subject to a $10.00 administrative reconnection charge. Past due accounts will be assessed a $5.00 late fee and an additional $10 or 10%, whichever is greater, per month unless a payment schedule is arranged with the company.

A bounced check will incur a $25 service charge, and all future payments must be made by Paypal or money order.

Delinquent Accounts

ISUnlimited.net may temporarily deny service or terminate this Agreement upon failure of Customer to pay charges when due. Such termination or denial will not relieve Customer of responsibility for the payment of all accrued service fees, or any collection fees.

Account Cancellation

All requests for canceling any service / services must be made in writing with at least 15 days notice, but not more than 45 days prior written notice, and emailed to sales@isunlimited.net. Confirmation receipt of cancellation will be sent within 48 business hours.
